Road Cycling Adventure

We’ll leisurely cruise through a maze of vineyards and small villages. Stopping along the way I’ll share some interesting tales of the valley as we discover Slovenia’s biggest mystery! When reaching the medieval town of Vipavski Križ, we’ll stop for a good reason… It’s time to taste the secret wine that fascinated the Roman Emperor!

After wine tasting and sightseeing of Vipavski Križ, either you can call it a day there and sample some additional wines in which case we’ll provide a van transfer back to the starting point. Or you can cycle the remaining part of the tour on charming backroads of Vipava Valley.

We’ll be discovering the very heart of Vipava Valley, starting from our little village of Skrilje. We’ll keep off the main roads, cycling through vineyards and tiny gravel roads with very little traffic — we probably won’t meet anyone except the winegrowers, working in their beloved vineyards. We’ll make a longer stop in the historic town of Vipavski Križ for a walk and wine tasting.
